Tunnel of Fire

a brightly coloured handkerchief is passed through the ends of the box and shown quite clearly inside, pulled back and forth etc.
the magician then reaches in and sets fire to the handkerchief whilst still being able to pull it back and forth from each end. For the big finish he is able to reach inside the box,killing the flame as he does so and pull the handkerchief clear, which is of course completed unharmed in any way

an old classic of mystery and illusion

the magician is able to suspend the vase on the rope and allow it to swing freely..

he can then pass both rope and vase out for inspection and invite his audience to try and recreate the feat
